I don’t have a diploma that would stand up Autism I’m A Special Education Teacher What’s Your Superpower Shirt legally or that would have gained me admission to any university by itself because I was able to go through the community college. We could certainly have gotten it but it would have required a lot more paperwork and standardized testing. I was already going down an avenue that circumvented that so we just continued with it. Congratulations! You have achieved more already than many of those pushed by their parents. Sorry about your fam. Why would you think your education doesn’t count just because it wasn’t as structured as physically going to high school?

If anything, you got a better education because it was tailored to Autism I’m A Special Education Teacher What’s Your Superpower Shirt you. Some other types of chemistry are way harder than orgo. Organic just gets a bad rap because all the med students and biology majors have to take it when they’re not necessarily into chemistry The issue is the mass amount of memorization. I’m an analytical chemist and the mechanisms of reactions weren’t hard for me but the memorization was. Which is why I disliked the two classes I took. It would have been better to have at least 3 classes instead to extend out the memorization. Maybe a base class to just memorize structures and then two classes of mechanisms.
