And while the movie was lacking in many ways, the gagworthy artsiness of the ending not being the least of these, I do have to say that the bear that steals the death screams of its victims was one of the most visceral horror experiences I have ever experienced in my 30+ years of movie mockery. Fuck that fucking bear and whatever twisted son of a bitch dreamt that cursed nightmare fueled freak show into existence.

I think what’s so unsettling is the beauty of it.
