Maybe you can give me some advice…we are redoing our pond and Good Garden Water Me Daddy Vintage Shirt it has water lilies from the previous owners. We need to restretch our liner but I’m wondering if I can move the lilies when we drain the pond? Are the lilies potted? If so, just remove the pots and put them in a 5-gallon bucket with water above the pot line. They’d be fine while you re-line your pond. How do you have to prepare the water? I have a small fountain and thought I might try a single water plant but my dogs also like to drink out of it from time to time. I wasn’t sure if it would thrive in just normal tap water.

How large are we talking lol? Mine is Good Garden Water Me Daddy Vintage Shirt only about 800 gallons. I wanted it to be manageable and enjoyable at the same time. The lilies have been very easy. I fertilized them when I first put them in along with the lotus. It’s been set it and forget it since then. They’ve been growing like weeds. I think I’ll go for it. I like the mottling/variegation on your pads, adds some nice texture. At this point, I’ll take any noninvasive aquatic plant that will out-compete the cattails and duckweed.
