Baby belly laughs are the best!!! Really are contagious. I have an 8-month-old and live for Nice Damn Baby Shirt her belly laughs. We have gotten to the point where I can say phrases to her and she knows I coming to get her worked up and laughing. Just saying the phrases get her smiling and giggling, which is also adorable. My little girl is about to turn 5 and when I tickle her just right you can always hear that old laughter pattern from a baby. It never gets old. Mine is just about to turn 11 and is deeply into the “Mum is embarrassing and doesn’t know anything” stage. I miss the all-day belly laughs so much.

Your comment makes me kind of sad, but also lets me know to Nice Damn Baby Shirt not just take all the laughing for granted either because she will grow up and not let me do raspberries to her stomach forever…probably shouldn’t be forever, not sure what the right age to stop that is though too. Don’t ever take it for granted, and continue the stomach raspberries for as long as you can. You’ll know when it’s time to stop, and it will kind of break your heart a bit when it does happen. My parenting mantra has always been “Love them as much and as vocally as you possibly can”.

It’s so pure. Also fascinating on what gets them laughing. My daughter used to Nice Damn Baby Shirt laugh like this when I used the food chopper. It was bizarre and adorable. Another to add to the list. I think it’s some kind of cause and effect thing that usually makes them laugh. Move straw = funny sound. I used to babysit for a little boy like this, he had to have his adenoids taken out because they were massive! If he cried too hard he used to be sick too. Interesting… I had my tonsils and adenoids removed at a young age and daughter’s tonsils look large too.
