I’ve been to lots of places in LA and SF. They are happy to cater to all dietary restrictions with no fuss or extra charges. Pre-COVID, this was one of my favorite places to take friends visiting from out of town. It’s a very lovely experience. I’ve has high teas of similar quantity and apparent quality for around $30 per person. Even champagne tea at high-end department stores doesn’t cost that much. I worked at an old hotel with a world-famous tourist trap high tea, and it was around $60 per person.
