It’s difficult to get bends that perfect and I imagine it took him quite a bit of time. You don’t have to have bends that perfect but it makes for better aesthetics. For anyone wondering yes this is my first build, the classic “it ain’t much but it’s mine” person on this sub. Saved up two summers of working to build this beast and loved the whole process! Sliding mount? I’m an idiot so forgive me, but like… essentially just attaching the mount to something like a sliding glass door track, and you’d be able to theoretically move it in front of, or away from the vent.

Because of the bar across the end, my guess is that this is a side-address mic. This is amazing! I can only imagine the hours that went into this. I’ve wanted to do a neon genesis Evangelion build but every time I put the green and purple together it looks like I’m going for the joker. Honestly, the only thing that makes it AT for me is the edgy “haha why so serious” bit, but that’s only because I like my themes more subtle and not spelled out with logos and catchphrases. Otherwise, it’s a pretty sick build.
