Typically, they have to be able to harm you at a distance. So, in this case, gun trumps Axe. If he tried to throw it, like a tomahawk or something, then he might have gotten shot. That’s why police typically shoot on the suspicion of the suspect having a gun; they can harm you or others at a distance and in very little time.

They’re two totally different issues. The protesters are protesting police brutality and Top You Can’t Argue With Viking Logic Because It’s Usually Backed Up With An Axe Shirt racism. Not all police are brutal or racists, the protesters are not protesting good cops, they’re protesting bad cops and the system that allows them to continue to be bad. And it didn’t happen in this situation at all. So instead of praising them for doing a great job handling things you still had to turn it around to that. Let’s not ignore or argue that you did that for no reason.
